This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Revlon. All opinions are 100% mine.
hi guys! today i want to share with you about this awesome campaign Revlon has started to inspire women to be pushed outside their comfort zone by actively engaging them in new expressions.  The Revlon Expression Experiment will deliver functional tools, education, inspiration and new products (eye shadows, lipsticks, nail polish & more!) that enable women to express themselves in a new way!

Revlon sent me one of their expressions kits to try out and i must admit, i was a little weary when i opened it.  i'm not much of a makeup person, i usually stick to simple and natural, but this kit had a smoky eye shadow pallete and a bold lipstick for me to try.  i was a little intimidated, but decided to go for it and have some fun!

i loved experimenting with these bold colors.  it was fun to step outside of my usual routine and channel a new side of myself.  i really like the way the eye shadow turned out.  i enjoy the subtleness of the colors and the smoky effect it gave me.  i would definitely wear it again for a night out downtown or a special occassion where i need to dress up.  what i really loved was the lipstick!  the color was amazing.  it was a few shades lighter than a typical red lipstick and was perfect for me.  i definitely put it into my makeup bag and have used to mulitple times since trying it out!
i think what Revlon has done with this campaign is wonderful.  i love the idea of challenging women to think outside their comfort zones and explore make up (and themselves) more.  being a woman may not always be easy, but it's definitely a beautiful thing.  Revlon inspires and empowers women to be proud of who they are and celebrate being a woman.   it's definitely an honor to be a part of such an empowering campaign.
i encourage you to check out the Revlon Expression Experiment on facebook, like them, and take part of the challenges yourself!  who knows, maybe you'll discover a lip color you absolutely can't live without!
