we headed down to san diego last saturday to do a little exploring and take in some sights.  we found a great dive bar that serves awesome burgers, watched the planes land over our heads, had some of the best gelato i've ever and ended the night with a walk in balboa park.  it was a fun change to our typical saturday nights.  plus, i always love spending time in san diego! 

what i wore // sunday brunch

for me, there is nothing i love more than a good weekend brunch. but, because i work every other weekend, sometimes my brunches are few and far between.  since i'm a big supporter of getting outside whenever possible, on the weekends i close, i try to get out and about to enjoy the first part of my day.  last weekend, we hit up brunch at the rooftop in laguna beach to soak up some sun and indulge in some huevos rancheros.  it was the perfect start to the day.  the only bad part?  having to leave brunch overlooking the ocean to get ready for work!

what i wore // san francisco style

we had such a blast in san francisco last weekend.  although the trip was short (just 1 night in sf!) we managed to cram all the best touristy activities in.  cable car rides, lombard street, fisherman's wharf and more!  it was fun exploring the city being tourists for the weekend.  i'm already looking forward to our next road trip!  can't wait to share more from our trip with you guys!
