one of the best parts about san diego is that you can be at the beach one second and up in the mountains the next. mission trails regional park is just a few minutes east of san diego state and is a great place to hike and explore. we went on a class field trip last semester and it was the perfect excuse to get some practice in with my camera while enjoying a gorgeous afternoon outside, becoming a little closer to mother nature.
