i'm so excited to have my dear friend tammy here to share her favorite spring getaway, which just so happens to be right in her backyard. this little destination is one of my favorite places to visit and i have decided that one day i will live there. i guarantee that after reading tammy's post, you will want to live there too!

I am so so lucky to live in San Diego. If you have visited here before you know that there is no shortage of beautiful places to visit in SD, but there is one place that gets me every time….
La Jolla
La Jolla is the sweetest little town…
that just happens to have a ridiculous amount of good places to eat
museums (Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego) and art galleries (Peter Lik Art Gallery!)
But what makes it so special is it’s beauty and numerous beachy activities.
Walk down to the water and watch the seals
(but please please don’t step on the sand,
it scares away the seals and then no one is able to see them),
rent a kayak and go kayaking through caves..
just don’t be surprised if you see some seals
popping their heads out of the water to check you out),
go snorkeling or scuba diving at the Cove and see lots of fish,
sharks (the nice kind), seals and even sunken ships,
or you can do one of my favorite activities..
just lay out in the sand and enjoy the beauty.
It takes my breath away.

Gorgeous pictures. I want to live on a beach so incredibly bad. That plate of food looks absolutely delicious by the way.
