if you're a beer fan like me, then you gotta head to escondido and check out lost abbey & port brewing company. these breweries share a space just off the freeway, the only way you can spot it is from the giant beer barrel out front. the inside is an open space full of brewing equipment, tons of taps and some awesome art. it's low key and casual and has some great tasting beer. the tasters are cheap (like only $1!) and you can get your growlers filled of your favorite beer. we went on a sunday afternoon and the place was semi-empty. it's definitely an awesome spot to hang out with some friends and have a few beers and a good time. i highly recommend checking it out!!

San Diego Breweries are the best!! When we lived in Carlsbad we spent way too much time at Pizza Port!
Loved this place when we visited! It's nice that it's so close to Stone too.
