dodger's spring training: the games!

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

the highlight of my trip to arizona was the games. that would make sense considering that's the whole reason people go to spring training in the first place, ha!  we had great seats, only 3 rows behind home plate. the only downside to those seats? we were constantly in the sun.  sitting in 91* heat all day wasn't that fun, but being that close to the action and cheering the boys on made it totally worth it.

we saw two different games; dodgers vs brewers on st. pattys days (which is why they are in green) and dodgers vs diamondbacks.  we won the first, lost the second.  but, the boys are lookin good and i got to see all my favorite players play.  i took close to 700 pictures during the games with my new camera, which i'm officially obsessed with after this trip.  but don't worry, i'm only gunna share a few of my favorites with you.  i know not all of you are as baseball obsessed as i am.

dodgers' spring training in arizona!

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

this past weekend i was in arizona for the dodgers' spring training.  it was hot, but it was so much fun!  if you are a baseball fan and haven't been to spring training, i highly recommend it!  it's a much more intimate experience - the stadiums are smaller, everyone there are real fans, the players stop and say hi and sign autographs.  it's just a great time overall.  i went with my parents as an early birthday gift for me.  i wish i could've stayed longer and seen more games, but that's what next year is for!!

it's time for dodger baseball

a little over a week ago i headed down to san diego for the dodger vs padre game with one of my favorite friends, olivia. it was a belated birthday celebration for liv and since we are both dodger fans, we couldn't pass up the chance to see them in sd. kai and her bf joined us for some pre game festivities at the tilted kilt before we all headed into the game and went to our designated seats.

olivia scored some awesome seats in the field level vip area and holy cow you guys, these were the best seats ive ever had for a baseball game! i'm talking perfect angle for maximum batter booty views! she even was selected to receive a free gift from the padres - a padre hat - which she put to great use (see below). we had such a fun time cheering on the boys in blue, making frienemies and enjoying some great ballpark eats (and drinks, of course!) plus the dodgers won, so it doesn't get much better than that!
