last week my friend and i headed up to los angeles to hit up the getty museum. i had never been to the getty before and we seriously couldn't have picked a better day to go. the weather was beautiful and we had such a great time exploring the museum and the grounds. the getty is huge and overlooks westwood, ucla and santa monica. it's such a gorgeous location, perched up on a hill above the chaos that's la down below. pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic and the views from the gardens. plus, admission to the museum is free! i would definitely recommend heading to the getty if you are in la.

In other news, we had NO idea the Getty Museum had free admission! Is it free everyday?! We used to live right by there & have been wanting to plan a trip for awhile!

she wont admit it but she was the most beautiful piece of art there.
